The end of 2023 marks not only the conclusion of my two years of presidency with the WFCA, but also a wonderful 30 years serving as a commissioner. During my time in the fire service, I have received much and given much. While volunteer firefighting from 1979 to 1994, I experienced a rare comradery and shared trust. Unfailing trust amongst a team facing danger allows us to fight against great and treacherous odds.
