Mileage is over 150,000. New Glow plugs, fuel injectors, and glow plug relay recently installed. Acquired his unit used from Thurston County. Patient Module is Road Rescue. 	Surplus 1996 International 4900 Fire Engine	0		N. AHMED	South Thurston Fire & EMS announces its intent to sell a 1996 conventional cab International 4900 fire engine. This engine was constructed by H&W Emergency Vehicles. Engine 43 is a Type 1 rated fire engine that has a 1500 GPM Darley Pump with a holding water capacity of 1000 gallons. The engine is a DT530 with 300hp and an Allison transmission MD360 with a retarder. This engine has seen minimal use, only having 37,309 miles put on the apparatus. This H&W fire engine has been well maintained in its nearly 13 years of service to South Thurston Fire & EMS. The fire department has had this apparatus annually pump tested. E-43’s last pump test took place in 2022; the engine's ladders were tested in 2023. Both pump testing and ladder testing passed. South Thurston Fire & EMS is asking $20,000 for the engine.
