Again, this year a Region Nine Spring Workshop was unable to be held. The Kitsap Fire Commissioners Association suggested that a video be produced. With the wildfire season well under way, Hilary Franz, Commissioner of Public Lands agreed to record a video for the Region Nine member Fire Districts. She will discuss the impact that her historic legislation SHB1168 will have on our Fire Districts. Prior to Hilary’s remarks, Roger Ferris, our Executive Director will speak to you on several important issues and the upcoming Annual Conference. Following Roger will be our former President Dave Ellingson who now represents the WFCA on the Leadership Forum. Last but not least will be our Commissioner of Public Land, Hilary Franz.
